Request Deletion of Your Personal Data

If you have shared your details with Finvastra through a form on this website, or during a call or WhatsApp conversation with our team, you can ask us to delete that information. This page explains how to raise the request, what happens after you send it, and the small set of records Indian law requires us to keep for a fixed period.

1. What You Can Ask Us to Delete

This information lives in three places: our enquiry records on Google Workspace, our customer relationship system, and our email. A valid deletion request covers all three. You can ask for everything to go, or name the specific records you want removed.

2. How to Raise a Request

Write to grievance@finvastra.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Please include:

If email is difficult, call us on +91 92475 19004 and our team will note the request for you. There is no fee, and you do not need to give a reason.

3. What Happens After You Write to Us

We acknowledge your request within 48 hours. Before deleting anything, we verify that the request genuinely comes from you, usually through a call or message to the mobile number in our records. This step protects you: without it, anyone who knew your name could erase your records or learn that you are our client.

Once verified, we remove your information from our systems and send you written confirmation. The whole process finishes within 30 days of your request, and usually much sooner.

4. Records We Must Keep Under Law

A few categories of records fall under retention rules written into Indian financial regulation, and we cannot delete them early even when you ask:

Whatever we keep under these rules is stored only for that purpose. It is not used for marketing or any new processing, and it is deleted once the required period ends.

5. Cookies on Your Device

Deleting your records from our systems does not clear cookies already stored on your own device. You can remove those yourself in your browser settings, under the option to clear cookies and site data for finvastra.com. If you chose Essential Only in our cookie banner, no analytics or marketing cookies were set in the first place. Our Privacy Policy lists every cookie we use.

6. The Finvastra App

The Finvastra app has not launched yet. When it does, account holders will be able to delete their account and the data attached to it from inside the app, and this page will be updated with those steps. Until then, every request is handled through the process described above.
